Our Team

Dr Ananda (B.Eng, MD, DIC, M.Sc)

The Penciltutor family is headed by Dr. Ananda who is dually qualified as a Mechanical Engineer and a Medical Doctor (M.D.). In 2014, he graduated with a DIC & MSc (Preventive Cardiology) from Imperial College London. He plans the teaching curriculum and also teaches exam preparation techniques.

Mr Tan (B. Bus)

Mr Tan is Penciltutor’s principles of accounts (POA) teacher and he has helped students get distinctions in POA. Employed full-time as a finance manager in a private company, he enjoys teaching at Penciltutor on weekends.  

Ms Lim (B. Arts (Hons))

Ms Lim completed her ‘A’ Levels at Jurong Junior College where she scored distinctions in History, Economics, English Literature. She subsequently graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) in History.

Ms Syikin (B.Arts (Education))

Ms Syikin graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Education majoring in Geography with a minor in Biology. After gaining experience in teaching at government schools for a few years, she ventured into developing GCSE curriculums for educational institutions.

Mr Eric (B.Sc)

Mr Eric graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. Besides mastering Physics, he is also a Mathematics enthusiast who enjoys seeking new concepts in Mathematics.

Mr Teo (B.A)

Mr Teo was conferred his degree of Bachelor of Arts in English by Nanyang Technological University. Subsequently, he went on to teach the subjects of English and English Literature in several Government schools.

Ms Zhang (B. Soc. Sci (Hons))

As a National University of Singapore graduate who made it to the Deans list, Ms Zhang is an excellent teacher who loves teaching Math, Physics & Chemistry.

Ms Meera (B.Mus, M.A)

An alumnus of the University of Sheffield, who holds a Master of Arts (Music Psychology in Education), Ms Meera oversees the financial administration of Penciltutor and does analysis of students’ exam papers.
