Principles of Accounts
Principles of Accounts (POA) is the fundamental of Financial Accounting. There are two major parts in this syllabus, namely, recording business transactions to produce financial statements and assessing a business performance by analyzing its financial statements.
Students have to learn the accounting concepts, the double entry rules and the various formats in order to record business transactions. The key is to ensure that the students build a strong foundation by understanding the concepts of each topic and their ability to apply it in questions. To cement the knowledge of the concepts, practicing a variety of questions is an essential tool.
Whenever possible, real life examples will be given during lessons to make it more interesting and relevant. After all, accounting is a practical and logical subject that can be applied in our daily life too!
